JBK Pottery’s Bread Saver helps maintain desirable moisture levels in bread, buns, and baked goods to keep them soft and fresh longer. Made in America from a specially fired clay, It’s the perfect addition to baking supplies and so easy to use. Simply soak it in clean water for 15-minutes, pat it dry, then place it in an airtight container with the items to be kept soft. The absorbed water will release slowly to help keep items moist longer. Repeat the soaking process to extend the life of baked goods as needed. It also will soften and maintain moisture in brown sugar, granulated sugar, sugar in the raw, turbinado sugar, and sugar substitutes, cakes, cookies, marshmallows, and dried fruit. Or, use it dry without soaking to absorb moisture away from spices, salt, crackers, pretzels, chips, and other crispy foods to keep them crunchy longer. Made in the USA from specially fired terracotta clay, JBK Pottery’s Bread Saver is food safe and reusable, over and over again. Rinse with clean water only. Do not use soap as it could leave a trace taste or scent.
