The True TUC-48D-2-HC undercounter refrigerator showcases meticulous design details, featuring 12-inch-long recessed handles on its doors and drawers. These handles are foamed in place with a sheet metal interlock, ensuring permanent attachment. The refrigerator is equipped with magnetic drawer and one-piece door gaskets that can be effortlessly removed without the need for tools, streamlining the cleaning process. Additionally, the heavy-duty stainless steel drawer slides and rollers are also tool-free removable.
The positive-seal doors are designed with self-closing and 90-degree stay-open features, swinging within the cabinet dimensions. The entire cabinet structure, solid door, and drawer facings are efficiently foamed in place with high-density polyurethane insulation. Locks are incorporated into the front set of the 5-inch-diameter stem castors, providing both security and mobility at a convenient work surface height of 36 inches.
Operating within a temperature range of 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, the True TUC-48D-2-HC offers adjustable settings to accommodate various applications. Guided airflow ensures uniform temperature distribution throughout the cabinet. The refrigeration system employs R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, promoting a more environmentally friendly approach compared to traditional refrigerants. The compressor’s fan motor runs in reverse for a 20-second period at the start of each cycle, effectively eliminating dust, debris, or dirt buildup on the coil.
