A Mega-Top Sandwich Prep Table is designed to hold its own in such an environment. Its exterior is made of 430 stainless steel, while the interior is made of 304 stainless steel. The work surface, top and lid of this two-section, two door table are made of heavy duty 16 gauge stainless steel. Insulation is provided by 2.5 inch of polyurethane foam. The back-mounted refrigeration features a slide out condenser which simplifies cleaning and maintenance. Because this is a front-breathing unit, it can be effectively built into a counter. Environmentally-sound R-134A refrigerant is used in this product. The air defrost function is electrically timed. The recessed handles and rounded corners of the doors have a more sleek, modern appearance. They’re also supplied with a door frame heater to staunch the build-up of condensation. A snap-in magnetic gasket can be cleaned or replaced readily. Each section of the table base has two epoxy coated wire shelves, for a total of four shelves with this piece. One half inch of insulation protects the temperature of the prep area. Its 8-1/2 inch sanitary cutting board is both removable and adjustable. Eighteen sanitary PVC 1/6 size pans are supplied with the table, and can be lined up three rows deep on the top of the work surface and can be covered by the lid to preserve freshness. The temperature range of 33 to 41F is controlled by an analog thermostat.
