Why We Love It: The Mister Agave MA-B4CMP200 cutlery set combines the reliable durability of polypropylene with sustainably-sourced agave fibers and an additive for improved biodegradation.
These cutlery pieces are able to stand up to both hot and cold applications, and boast a shelf life of over 300 days. Despite their long shelf life, their BioSphere additive allows them to break down much more readily in landfill environments than standard plastic. The additive consumes bonds within the plastic at the macromolecular level, allowing them to biodegrade further to their most basic components and increasing surface area for plastophilic microbes to attach.
Offered in black, the cutlery uses natural pigmentation and features an attractive speckled appearance with gloss finish. They are ASTM tested and FDA-approved.
