The True GEM-23-HC~TSL01 is a glass end merchandiser with a bottom-mounted refrigeration system, which operates in the coolest area of a kitchen and is easily accessible for maintenance. The unit features condenser and evaporator fan motors that create a consistent volume of air, reducing heat production and energy consumption. It maintains temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit using environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.
A key feature is the reverse condensing fan motor, which, when used in conjunction with regular maintenance, enhances the unit’s efficiency and lifespan. This motor reverses for 20 seconds upon compressor startup to reduce dust and debris accumulation on the condensing coil, ensuring the unit keeps stored products cold.
The interior of the cabinet is bright, thanks to its white aluminum interior and LED interior lights, making products highly visible to customers. The glass sides and double-pane glass door on the front offer excellent product visibility.
